Consultant: In the last trimester, even if the mother doesn't have enough iron, she will transfer it to the baby.
Consultant: I call it unconditional love.

ay..i just read up about that today. so basically the mum can be super anaemic but the baby is still surviving cause the mum is still supplying kiddo with enough.
on a totally different note, i need to confirm when we are flying to and from nepal by the end of this week so i can book my own plane ticket
