gratitude.

I usually bitch and whinge about the crap management at Gribbles Pathology when it comes to rosters and time tables. I mean I know it's hard to organise such large numbers of people, but sometimes... you just get pissed.

Well for a change, I'd like to commend them. I waited until 8pm tonight to call the other on-call staff as I was sick and not really getting any better. After no one seemed free, I called the area supervisor who told me to call someone else. Basically to cut a long story short, someone was free on the morning, someone was free in the arvo, but not one to cover both. So I rang back with the dilemma. For a change the supervisor said that we can have one person in the morning, another in the afternoon, to which I asked if I should call them back and tell them what's going on.

She replied "Your sick Raffy and you've done more than enough already. I'll ring them back and sort out the hours. Thanks for all the help already."

Not a big thing at all, but I'm really grateful for working with people that actually care.

...

God I must REALLY be sick - I sound normal!
