childhood dreams.

Can you think back to a time, when you can't really remember your age and your memories are, at best...fuzzy. Those days that seem tinged with sepia and nostalgia, where you wanted to be an astronaut or a fireman.

Well, somewhere in the swirl of my own childhood memories, somewhere near when I was 10, I heard about the Aurora. A natural light that glowed and snaked along the sky. It captured my interest like there was no tomorrow. At the time, I was living in a third world country and more concerned with not being kidnapped and avoiding thieves and getting the grades at school. Even then, I knew my chances of doing seeing things like that, or even going overseas were fairly slim.

Now, more than 10 years later, I'm typing this from a hotel in Iceland. I haven't seen the Aurora yet, but chances are, I will tomorrow. So here's my short post on how dreams can be achieved.

And you thought I never did any mushy-kind of posts... =P

Wow, I’m glad you wrote about that. It touches my heart to see how people’s dreams actually do come true if they work hard enough. Good for you.

My dreams before when I was a kid were different from the dreams I have now. But there is this one dream that I would really like to pursue. And congratulations to you!

Dreams really do come true! Especially if it's really meant for you. Nothing is impossible if you just believe! I'm happy for you that things are much better now. Congratulations on tat Aurora.
