Hmmz...
This has been the strangest of days. I woke up with sleep deprivation after driving my Mum to the airport and getting home at 2:30am and having to wake up at 8am to see my bro off to school.
But...here comes the strange part... instead of going off to sleep more... I stayed up!
On top of that... I never realised how quiet the house is when everyones away. I'm usually the one who runs off all the time and am never home, so I never realised. It highlighted how much my parents actually communicate with each other as well. There's usually a constant barage of useless gossip, advice, small talk, questions, more questions and critique coming from atleast one (if not both) of them.
and for once... I missed it!!!
Maybe its coz I felt really alone today. Well I WAS alone today =P
Everyone I msged was busy... So i did the only thing that came to mind. "Jeans!" Now u may be wondering wat you can do with jeans. The answer is, not a lot really! But mine were too long. So, I braved the new frontier of tailoring and endeavoured to chop the leg short and hem the jeans up myself. I'm quite happy with the result!! Also managed to wipe about 2 hrs off the day. Next, I did wat i actually put the jeans on for in the first place.... Went to MMC to check up on my office for BMedSci. However, it was being painted so I couldnt really do much. Also, realised that my project may have to be changed as my supervisor doesnt know how many pts I might have :(
Then, since no one was free, I decided to go to the gym and exhaust myself. That was pretty good. Ran a lot and started incline training.
Afterwards, with the feeling of solitude and emptiness still lurking around... I came home to "some" warmth - my bro and dad were home. However, it was not the family sort of warmth I craved today. It was the sort where u can just sit and chat (now I know some families can do this, but i cant =P) I needed a friend around...
So I did wat I always do in these moments. I rang Sarah! Turns out Nitesh was over... So since I havent talked to either of the couple in a while, I caught up with them (and realised that its been 7 months since I last saw Nitesh face to face!!!!)
Currently, I am waiting for Alex, who may or may not be coming to visit....
That is all... kinda boring for my very first blog posting... ahh well... wat can u do eh?
