time & time spent.

I know I know, my posting is erratic at best. But that's what happens when you actually have a life outside cyberspace.

Shocked? So was I! I didn't think I had one of those! But yes, but my "real" life is being kinda hectic right now, especially with my Emergency rotation. That + laziness (and Heroes coming back on) = no new posts. Yet. But I have started on the draft for the next post. I swear!

Emergency.

Yep- I'm in that at the moment. Both literally and figuratively. Let's go with literally first...

I'm doing my ED rotation. It is AWESOME fun. Mainly because there are lots of procedures, and you know who loves medical procedures! ME!!! So far, have stitched up 2 or 3 patients, shoved a catheter in a guy (I so don't ever want one of those!) and NEARLY got to do an lumbar puncture. For the medically uninitiated - that involves shoving a big needle into someones spine. Awesome!

But in the jist of all this, I've lost all my time and motivation for other things. ED is hectic and busy as fuck. I go in there and on the good days, by the time I've seen a few things, it's already been 5+ hrs. And I'm wrecked.

Now for the figuratively part. I'm not so much in an emergency, just in a very volatile state. So much is happening at any given time that I keep thinking I'm missing something/forgetting etc.

In the next week:
- have to go to Bendigo to shoot a ball
- Dad's moving to Perth for work
- Tenants for house
- Moving stuff back from said house to current house
- ED rotation
- module (oh I hate you so!)

And that's just a list I've come up with whilst running about trying to figure out how to get furniture from house 2 to house 1.

But anyway- the point is the same. Lots and lots of stuff happening. On top of all that, I'm looking for places to move into next year, an activity that's much harder than normal, considering I have to a) find a housemate b) make sure he's not mainly rural c) make sure I'M not rural at certain times d) find a place that's affordable.
