... you see a really rare case on the ward (only 500 documented cases in the world!)
and are actually soo happy to see said patient that you feel compelled to buy cake and share it with the other person you are on the ward with.
Yes, that's right really rare congenital problems excite me... though the poor kid was kinda heart-wrenchingly sad to watch - 17mths old, suffers from severe seizures and has basically every anti-epileptic pumping through her and has a the developmental status of an unborn foetus. Very rarely does she bring her hands to mid-line. Occasionally follows objects etc. But being hooked up to THAT many machines, you wonder if it's cos of that that she can't move or if it's actually her...
But yes! Upbeat note - it made sooo happy that I ended up having cake! Was going to get Baci cake - but as we all know that is only good to bring back bad memories so Toblerone cake was the flavour of the week. Was very nice w. a really hard biscuit base. As Kimanji said "I feel like I'm excavating the biscuit off!!!" T'was a big slice! T'was nice! I was happy! Chocolate and surgical cases - the easiest way to make Raffy happy
... apart from hookers =P I kid, I kid (really!)
