...a new laptop!!!
Well for me atm at least. After the cataclysmicly crap week that was ...LAST WEEK, I think im entitled to some retail therapy. Unlike most of my other ventures, this one was actually required as my LCD on my old one burnt out :(
Oh...but it seems that not all that bad...
After my presentation, I'm going to hook the old one up to the TV. Then the fun starts. I will have to get around to establishing a proper wireless network throughout the house, so that you can file-share between all the computers. Now think about it...this laptop has cable internet acess, which means streaming internet TV, internet radio, gaming. It also will have access to 2 other computers - dload movies from the other comps and play!!! yes thats right... its my own version of a media centre pc... but not just that... its a media centre network! I'm also thinking of getting a USBHDTV tuner so I can turn it into a HDD Recorder, and with the burner, I can burn everything as well!!!
Go the nerd in me!!! I'm kinda excited to see if i can pull this off!!!

Happiness also is knowing that you have finished all that you can for your presentation and jsut have to wait for feedback from your supervisor...
it also comes from sending an email to ur supervisor AND your academic co-ordinator with what you have done so far, so that if the supervisor doesnt show up, you have proof that you've done your bit and ur academic co-ordinator (who happens to be the head of surgery =P) can flex his muscles and make things happen!!! =D
